Maya Bazaar.....

Krishik Creation's "Maya Bazaar" is the first venture of Director Umakanth as a producer. He has also composed music for the film. The director had made name for himself with some of his earlier films like "Anuraaga Samgam" and "Rangenahalliyaage Rangada Range Gowda", but somehow missed out there after. But in "Maya Bazaar" he promises a treat to the viewers. "The film is interesting from the first reel itself" -the director says confidently.

Prema plays two roles in the film and according to rumours, one is a negative role. Kumar Govind and Diwakar are in the roles of two wayward street urchins, who cheat others to make some money for their living. The two sisters played by Prema are inheritors of a big property. Some mysterious things take place in the house of Sudarshan, the grandfather of both the Premas, and attempts are made to kill one of them. The two wayward youths meets one of the two sisters and assures her of help and security. The climax shows how the mystery is solved.

Incidentally, it is the first time that Director Umakanth has ventured as a Music Director and the Songs that are shown in the promos on the Satellite Channel are quite catchy. The studio reports of the film indicate that actress Prema has given one of her best performances in the film, and it is bound to appeal to the Kannada film viewers who are looking ahead to a totally different film. The film has been shot in beatiful locales of Sakaleshpur, Somwarpet and Forest Areas of Kodagu.
