        | The movie is about an atheist Manjunatha (Arjun), who helps
the oppressed people and saves them by |

 | fighting against the evil. Though, Manjunatha is a hater of
Lord Shiva, he is liked by Lord Shiva for his incessant effort to uplift the downtrodden.
According to Lord Shiva and Parvati, Manjunatha has been sent to earth to re-establish
Dharma which is declining in Kaliyuga.
Meanwhile Manjunath comes across Kathyayini (Soundarya), who happens to be a staunch
devotee of Lord Shiva . Kathyayini gets impressed by Manjunatha's good nature and
eventually they get married. Soon, they have a son (Anandavardhan) who too happens to be a
staunch supporter of Lord Shiva, like his mother. But Kathyayini's disappointment is that
she has not been able to change her husband

power and strength of Lord Shiva and |

            | decides to conquer the evil-minded people with his devotion
rather than anger and violence. Manjunatha then becomes a staunch Shiva follower. He is
subjected to tests by Lord Shiva and finally attains Moksha with his wife.
All the actors/actresses have performed extremely well though it is Arjun who has indeed
given an award winning performance. Meena looks stunning as Parvati. Chiranjeevi has
excelled in his role. Soundarya , Ambareesh and Sumalatha too have done well.

        |      This film is undoubtedly a masterpiece. It has a wonderful star cast, director, music,
singers, cinematography. Producer Jayasri Devi deserves compliments. Besides Sri
        Manjunatha's "leelas" there are

 | many worth watching elements in this film that keeps the
            audience glued to their seats.
In Sri Manjuntha, Raghavendra Rao has proved that he is not only good in commercial movies
but also mythological ones. He knows the rule to make a devotional film in the 21st
century and still emerge victorious. His movie clearly shows that he is capable of studying
the younger generation's mind and has conveyed a meaningful lesson for them.
