        | Company is a story about underworld and the
way it functions. Malik (Ajay Devgan) happens to be the head of an underworld gang and
runs his show with the help of few other associates. Saroja (Manisha |

 | Koirala) happens to be his soul-mate. In one
instance, Malik happens to see Chandu (Vivek Oberoi) and is impressed by his killer
instincts. He immediately appoints Chandu as his right hand man and his associates are
unable to digest this. Kannu (Antara Mali) , an uneducated girl happens to be Chandu's
love. Seema Biswas plays Chandu's mother and both Kannu and Chandu's mother have a strong
            influence on his life.
Malik shifts his company along with Chandu to Hong Kong when they are

        | chased by cops in India. They control their
men in Mumbai from Hong Kong. Everything runs smooth till there is a misunderstanding
between the two and they split. Chandu moves to Nairobi and starts his gang |

            | there. Thereafter Chandu and Malik become
hardcore enemies and their only mission in life becomes destroying each other. Srinivasan
(Mohanlal), a tough cop, with a mission to end crime takes advantage of this situation.
"Company" is yet another powerfully directed movie by Ram Gopal Verma. He is
possibly one of the few best directors Bollywood has. The direction given by him in this
film is even better than that in Satya which was claimed to be the best till date. Company
is one of the very few movies in the history of Indian cinema that

Performance-wise , Vivek and Ajay are at their best. It is clear now that Ajay should be
choosing these kind of roles. Vivek looks like a veteran in this |

 | movie. Mohanlal , the superstar of Kerala
does have his South-indian accent but he certainly has the best dialogues here. He
delivers very well. Manisha is capable of much more although her role here is definitely
upto the mark. Antara Mali too has a great performance. This happens to be her third movie
after "Mast" and "Khiladi 420". Seema Biswas is brilliant as well.
Sandeep Chowta's background music is first-rate. There are not many songs in the movie.
"Khallas" is already popular for the last few months. "Ankhon mein"
and "Tumse Kitna" are also pretty acceptable. Action sequences by Allan | |

        | Amin is
brilliantly executed. Cinematography by Hemant Chaturvedi is well upto the mark. Jaideep
Sahni deserves a decent pat on his back for the logical flow in storyline and impacting
        dialogues. |

            | Overall, Company is a must watch, because
this kind of a movie and that too executed to perfection is a rarity. |
