  1. The application duly signed by the Principal shall either be handed over in person or by Registered Post to the following Address:
    The Director,
    Pre-University Education,
    Palace Road,
    Bangalore-560 001.
     
  2. The application/s sent by Post through the Principal or by the Candidate should invariably be superscribed on the Envelope as "APPLICATION FOR RETOTALLING".
     
  3. The application should be submitted along with Demand Draft so as to reach this office on or before the due date prescribed i.e., within 15 days from the date of announcement of results of each examination.
     
  4. The prescribed time limit for submitting the application for retotalling should be strictly adhered to when the applications sent either directly by the Candidate or through the Principal of the College.
     
  5. Retotalling Fee for:
     
    One Subject :   100-00
    Two Subjects :   200-00
    Three Subjects :   300-00
    Four Subjects :   400-00
    Five Subjects :   500-00
    Six Subjects :   600-00
       
  6. The applications submitted/received in this Office after the due date will be rejected.
     
  7. The Candidates themselves should pay the fees through Bank Demand Draft (single Demand Draft is enough for any number of subjects) in the name of "DIRECTOR, PRE-UNIVERSITY EDUCATION, BANGALORE", payable at Bangalore. (Postal Order or Money Order will not be accepted).
     
  8. The Candidates should not pay the fees towards retotalling, to the College.
     
  9. In column 5, the subject in which Retotalling is required should only be entered and not all the Subjects. The remaining lines should be struck off.
     
  10. The marks in column 5 should be entered by the College on the basis of result sheet and the application should be attested by the Principal, without waiting for the Marks Card/Pass Certificate.
     
  11. Each student has to use only one application for any number of subjects he/she wish to apply for Retotalling.
     
  12. The incomplete applications will be rejected without endorsement.
     
  13. The retotalling result will be communicated to the address given in the application within a period of one month after the last date fixed for receipt of applications on the following means:
    a) For No change cases - by ordinary post.
    b) For changed cases - by Regd. post/telegraphically.
    c) In case of any changes out of retotalling in Science Subjects/Combinations,
    the CET cell will be informed about the same directly by the Department.
     
  14. The failed candidates and candidates who want to reject the results must send their application for the next examination without waiting for the result of the retotalling.
     
  15. Applying for retotalling cannot be a valid reason for delay in submitting the application for the next examination.
