To get the power sanction first one should approach the respective sub-divisions under whose jurisdiction the industry falls, with the following documents:

  • If the shed comes under KIADB/KSSIDC administered layouts, then the allotment letter is a must along with the other documents mentioned below.
  • Application form in the prescribed format mentioning the required load and the type of industry.
  • For sheds other than those which come under the jurisdiction of KIADB/KSSIDC , license from the corporation or municipality, under whose jurisdiction it falls, has to be produced.
  • Khata certificate
  • Latest tax paid receipt.
  • NOC (no objection certificate) from the owner of the building taking responsibility for the arrears to be cleared if any.
  • If the power requirement is below 67 HP, it will be provided on LT (low tension) basis.
  • Tariff would depend on the purpose and the requisition load.
  • The party has to pay the following deposits.
    1. 3 months minimum deposit which depends on the load required.
    2. Rs.980/- has to be paid as meter security deposit. For single phase meter and load less than 5 kW. Rs.4,900 has to be paid if the load required is between 5 to 25 LW, and for the load above 5 kW Rs.15,070.00 has to be paid as meter security deposit.
    3. Rs. 150/- has to be paid by all towards supervision charges.
    4. Infrastructure charges depend on the load requirement.
