Every
such application for a water connection shall be submitted through a plumber licensed by
the Board and shall be accompanied by a deposit of Rs.25 to serve as an advance, the
actual amount being determined by the water supply Engineer, in each case, in addition.
The deposit of Rs.25 shall be refunded to the depositor on demand after he settles his
account and ceases to be a consumer. Such deposits shall be made in the case of existing
connections also where deposits have not been made so far. The applicant shall also pay in
advance, the cost of laying the communication pipe after the receipt of intimation from
the water supply Engineer. |
