Jeena Sirf Merre Liye

Movie Review: Jeena Sirf Merre Liye
Director : Talat Jani
Producer: Vashu Bhagnani
Music: Nadeem-Shravan
Starring : Kareena Kapoor, Tusshar Kapoor, Vijayendra, Himani Shivpuri, Kader Khan

Jeena Sirf Mere Liye is a story of two childhood friends Puja (Kareena) and Karan (Tusshar) who get separated after Pooja's father leaves for the city.

Once separated they long for each other and even make attempts looking for each other but in vain. They lead their lives and grow up with the hope of finding their childhood friend. Destiny plays a role and brings both of them in touch with each other but they are unable to recognize each other. When they finally do so, they remain tongue-tied for some reason..

Finally true love wins and they unite.

Jeena Sirf Mere Liye is inspired by "Anmol Ghadi" of yesteryears. The story is same as that of childhood friends who get separated and finally meet later in life. Though the director has tried his best to make the basic idea interesting , the film fails to keep audience glued to their seats. The major drawbacks being too many unnecessary songs, making the film lose it's focus on the actual story. Direction is average. Music by Nadeem Shravan is ok, the only demerit being too many songs. Of all the tracks, the title is the best. Cinematography is wonderful. Dialogues are well penned.

Performance wise , Kareena Kapoor could have done better. She seems to be doing the same roles lately. Tusshar is again all the same. Kader Khan has done very well. Others are OK.

Overall, the movie is fun to watch.
