This is the simplest of all home made drinks and ideally suited for summer. Even though it is said to be very simple most us do not know how exactly it is being prepared. If prepared in the appropriate way it will surely tingle the taste buds.

Ingredients
Jaggery (powdered) - 1 cup
Water - 3 cups
Lemon - 2 nos.
Dried ginger (powdered) - 1 � sp.
Cardamom (crushed) - 2 nos.
Pepper & Salt (crushed) - � tsp.

Method

  1. Mix the jaggery in the water and dissolve it well.
  2. Filter the ingredients in a cloth. Add lemon juice, dried ginger powder, cardamom, pepper and salt.
  3. Mix this well and serve chilled.
