Subject:Problems in Bangalore

Respected Sir,
There are a lots of problems in our Bangalore city, I will list some of the problems & I shall also suggest some possible remedies for them, it is for the authorities to look at those problems.
Sir there are still a lot of youngsters like me who do not go to discos & pub, rather return home immediately after college is over, so the govt. can make best use of these youngsters for development purpose or creating a social awareness programme. Or the best use would be - in our area there are a lot is a lot of problem of teenage rowdies this worries even a grown adult cos' these teenagers don't reside in our area rather work in shops & garages so do not have anyone to bother them so naturally they take advantage of these situations & trouble others, so in this case the police department can make use of youngsters like me for the purpose of information network or u can also call them as intelligence gathering & can deal the with situations with the first hand information.
Sir, this will be my first letter to you & I will continue writing to you regularly I my suggestions be implemented one day.
Sir I'll once again leave my address with you & you can contact me for any purpose which you consider purposeful

Thanking you
Kamal

Subject:Left turns at Silk Board

The left turn from Hosur Road to BTM layout at the silk board junction needs to be broadened to allow for free left turn. This will reduce the congestion at this junction in peak hours.

Similarly the left turn from BTM layout to Hosur road can be broadened to allow free left turn. Enough space is available, the bridge over the drainage has to be widened to allow this.

Subject:Lack of dustbins

Hello Sir/madam

I'm a citizen of Bangalore and I would like the city to prosper in all respect

My suggestion to the govt. is that,-there should me dustbins in every road side(not only major roads ,but all cross roads) there should be dustbins at every 1/2 km distance atleast. but not that  "concrete" ones ,but more decent looking like u see in some of parks. This will change the mind of all people & they will start using it ,instead of throwing on roadside.

Please I would love to have your reply in my mail ID [email protected]

Regards
Rakesh(a Bangalorean)

Subject:regarding a stone age called giving cut in villages to harass outsiders

Sir,
Your kind attention good wishes with trust and respect I write this letter to you.

My name is Vithal Kanchan resident of Barkur  hamlet, hosala village, I am a retired government servant of Gujarat state government and my son is working for a national newspaper.I have bought a property at sarabeedi, post Barkur district udupi Karnataka with my other house in Ahemdabad.  I am born and brought up in Karnataka  but because of livelyhood I had migrated to Bombay and then to Ahmedabad.here in Barkur town I have come across a very stone age system of society where in a person who is  from outside Karnataka and who doesn't know this system is being harassed and humiliated just because he is a bit better financial condition than the normal villager.

Sir at my land here in Barkur , I was planning to correct certain boundaries and also planning to stop gross misuse of my land in my absence  by the neighbourhood boys who everytime get drunk and play all kinds of dirty and undecent words when the ladies of my house are there. this got me enraged and when I spoke against them that why do they misuse my land and always use it as if it is public dustbin he started screaming and then he gave us  "cut" in the local language wherein once a party gives it, whether he is right or wrong the village panchayat has to be called for a meeting that too all the 100 houses of the village have to called personally  for the meeting. if you don't attend the meeting of the cut in the bennekudra temple in Barkur then according to this stupid pre-historic rotten village law the whole village will stop talking to you and even wont sell or buy anything from you. Sir what's this nonsense going on here in Karnataka AT ONE POINT KARNATAKA is one of the most advanced state in computers and on one side we have practices like cut in villages where in the hopeless outsiders are just insulted and harassed by the local goondas I had given a complaint to the  brahmvara police station Mr. Laxmi narayan the ASI of the station his phone number is 08252-61044

Sir in India government of India has abolished sati pracises and bonded labour which was a disgrace to the society  and its people. this system of cut is being used just by the villagers to harass someone who they are jealous of or settle scores why don't people trust the justice.why doesn't the government of Karnataka ban and abolish the system of giving cut or some nonsense just to humiliate someone.

Here in this place Barkur the local goodas have spoken threateningly and spoke indecent words in front of women folk in the house  AND THE DISGRACEFUL PART IS THE VILLAGE SUPPORTS THEM INSPITE OF THE GIVER OF THE SO CALLED CUT IS THE ONE OF THE CRIME MAKERS.

Sir is this all Karnataka all about is there no law and order , is there no social responsibility  of the government and socialists, thinkers, learned academicians of the Karnataka to stop such kind of nonsense happening such stone age traditions  to be followed to keep certain sect of people in
business.

For example it is like this - I go and steal something in your house or say dirty words to your family ladies in your own house  and then when I protest and try to bring him to book the village rowdies get together and give a village system called cut and system of the panchayat where in all village
people will socially boycot you , I have a very strange impression about Karnataka after this incidence, I will be reporting it to the press people but Sir you are the epitome of justice and the last straw for social upbringing , I would expect that the government will abolish this irrational system of cut in the village panchayat which gives all the rowdies a free hand to do anything with anyone in the village and that to with outsiders just because they know the outsider have no support of the justice.

I would expect that you would look into the matter and see to it that the crime perpetuators will not go unpunished.

If you send any inquiry to his place I will be the witness to all the wrong doings  of the rowdies  and offcourse the Gujarat police have come to know about the happenings at Barkur place so anything happens to me they will straight come and catch those who have harassed me  till date.kindly let me know any departmental inquiry is committed so that I can be present there.

I had gone to my native place because of the massive earthquake in Bhuj and Ahmedabad to take some rest and for some peace of mind  but this is what I got back from them for keeping my love for my native place alive even after staying for 50 years away from my native place.

Expecting a responsible  reply and action.
