Subject: Regd. Cable TV

Hi
I am a resident of Koramangala 5th block. When I approached the local cable TV operator to get a connection, I was shocked by the whooping fees they demanded to give a connection. They told me to pay Rs.1500 as non-refundable deposit to get connected and a monthly rent of Rs.150. I have never heard of such a huge fees being collected to get a cable TV connection. The cable TV operator M/S Krishna Cable TV Systems, are exploiting the residents because of the monopoly in this industry.
I would like to request the appropriate authorities to bring in some regulations to fix the cable TV prices and hence save the residents from this monopoly war..

Thanks

Vijay

Subject: Question

Respected Sir,
As a Kannadiga and a proud Bangalorian, I was deeply disturbed by the news of Shivajinagar Bus Stand subway problem. I have and will always appreciate the initiatives recently taken by BMP, but the thing that bothers me is accountability.

You have spent seven crores of taxpayers money to build the subway and you have seepage problem within six months. This is pathetic. One of your representative has given a statement that there was a huge tank before the subway was built. Well that's fine. But when the tender was called and the contractors bid for the same, don't they have all these information. Isn't it their responsibility to come  up with a plan to tackle that problem. Now it seems it takes 1 year to rectify the problem. This really annoys me. Now are you going to take any action on the contractor who built the subway, or atleast ask for some explanation from him. He has taken money to built it and he has built a load of crap for Bangaloreans.

Can you please reply to me regarding the actions that you are taking.

Subject: Commercial office in residential area .

Our neighbour house no. 12 has rented his house to a computer firm. Our layout is a residential area. The Road was being used for walks in the evening by most of the   layout people especially ladies. Now with the opening of this office, it has spoiled the tranquility of this place with lots of vehicles parked in front of the office and also people crowding round the office which makes it uncomfortable for ladies specially to go for their walks. In addition to all these the customers coming to the office park their vehicles in from of my house and gather in gangs and talk very loudly. The peaceful residential area has been converted into a busy commercial area. Added to this the office has put up an ugly huge internet antenna in the premises which has spoiled the very beauty of the place. I want to know whether there are any zoning regulations for commercial setups.. can the peace of the residential area be disturbed by commercial setups? The person concerned should he not take permission from the neigbhours before setting up a commercial office and also before installing huge ugly structure internet antenna. I please request the BDA to talk steps and prevent the destruction of this quite tranquil layout into a busy commercial area. I hope BDA under your guidance will help us in bringing back the calm quite tranquility of our layout.

Thanking you

Subject: International Direct flights to Bangalore

Honourable Chief Minister,
NAMASKARA
I am an Kannadiga working outside the country as an IT professional, I am very sorry to write that even though you did a very good job for IT Sector but you and your ministers have failed miserably with regard to bringing the International Airlines to Bangalore. It's a shame on you all.

But eventhough I am a Kannadiga I would definitely say Hats off to Mr. Chandrababu Naidu for his efforts and success in bringing Emirates Airlines (Direct Flights) to Hyderabad.

We the Kannadigas request yourself to forget your difference opinion among the dirtiest politicians who are not only destroying the Kannada Nadu's Image in the International Sector but also they are Desh Drohi's by stopping the growth of the State. please take immediate and stern action regarding this and clear all the hurdles if you cannot able to do it call the Kannadigas all over the world and in the Kannada Nadu to stage protests with the Center. Ask the BJP Minister from Bangalore what the hell he is doing for this issue and for the Kannadigas is he busy making money by compromising the states image with the center.

I request all the Kannadigas to wake-up and rise the protests for all the issues which are hindering our Kannada Nadu's development and kill the anti Kannadiga's motives in the state.

Yours Loving Kannadiga......
