Subject : Rail Service |
|
I'm a Keralite working
in Bangalore for the past couple of years. This year I wanted to visit my native place for
the Onam festival. To my dismay all rail and bus reservations were full and I was
waitlisted at 160(Karnataka Express). As Onam is the biggest festival of the Keralites, it
would have been nice if some special trains were introduced at the peak time i.e on 28'th
and 29'th so that thousands of people like me would benefit.
The fact that during the Sabarimala festival season , there are special trains introduced
for many days. Here it is required only for 1 or 2 days. At the very least some additional
bogies being introduced would help a lot. |

Subject : Felling a wildgrown tree outside 272, 11th Cross, 30th Main, J.P.
Nagar,
I-Phase, Bangalore - 560078 |
|
To
apprise you of the facts and solicit your intervention in the subject matter:
1) A Rubber Tree existing outside the above address
2) On representation and inspection, the Forest Department ordered on 19.05.2001 for
removal of the tree
3) Corporation office was intimated on 19.06.2001 by the Forest Department to cut
the tree within a month.
4) Corporation people inspected the tree in July 2001 and agrees for removal of tree
within a week
5) On 07.08.2001 the undersigned visited the Inspector Mr. Puttaswamy at Corporation
Office Horticulture, Jayanagar. Was informed that "cost of felling the tree is
more than cost of selling"; Hence cutting the tree not viable for BCC.
The tree is of a wildgrowth species, with 40X60 Feet after pruning, its roots affecting 10
to 12 houses in the neighbourhood of 11th Cross, damaging the foundation, compound walls
and disrupting electric supply of these houses. If left out, it can cause considerable
damages by snapping the electric supply cable and collapse of compounds.
As cost of human lives are more precious than cost of selling/felling, your
attention is drawn to help us in this matter.
Would appreciate a personal audience to present our case and apprise you of the
facts.
Thanking You,
RAJ SHARMA |

Subject : Demolition of buildings in Hulimavu,Bannerghatta
road,Bangalore-76 |
I
would like to inform you that so many houses and buildings are being demolished by the BDA
in Hulimavu,Bannerghatta road. inspite of our repeated request and producing necessary
documentation the BDA is continuing there idea of demolishing houses and acquisition of
land.
As an NRI, even I( Abilash Varma) had purchased the land in Hulimavu village. I had even
paid the Betterment charges to the CMC.I have taken the KEB connection and people are
leaving in the house for the past 9 years. Necessary Taxes were also paid to the CMC. When
I had approached the BDA authorities the reason what I got for demolishing my house was
that the necessary charges were not paid to BDA and the charges were collected by the CMC
as Betterment charges was for beautification of Bangalore. Dear Sir, I honestly ask
you.... why should the government allow CMC to beautify a place which is going to be
demolished... and fool the people. Inspite of paying so much for a site and after getting
it registered in Subregistrar office.... a normal man thinks that he is purchased a proper
plot. Based on the Registration Papers..issued in the Subregistrar office... even the Bank
issued me LOAN to construct a house. After constructing a house ..by taking the loan....
suddenly today BDA issues a notice telling that the sites are acquired by BDA many years
before and the Tax and Betterment charges and electricity bills for all theses years which
I have paid is of no use...This makes no sense. Where does a common man like me stand
today? Investing all the years of earnings on a site, and after taking so much loans and
building a house today these Demolition men.. from BDA are trying their best to Shatter
all the dreams and efforts of a common man. I hope this letter will reach the right
person in the BDA and positive step will be taken to protect many of such people like me,
as a common man we trust our leaders and Government authorities to protect us but if
you don't show us the proper way..... whom should a common man approach... ?
Thanks for taking time to read this mail...I will be eagerly waiting for your reply and
necessary action.

Subject: Future of students in your hands |
Hello Sir. First of all I want to congratulate and thank you for the good
services you have been providing for us.And I also thank you for giving me an opportunity
to put my problem before you.And to bring to your notice the this is a very good and
interactive medium of communication between us.
Sir, I am a Commerce student who has just got my First year results.Sir, I am very
disappointed with the kind of marks I have scored in the exams.I am student who is above
average when it comes to the academics. I had done my exams well, as this year's paper was
not that though. Sir, it is very necessary for me to bring to your notice that I have
scored the least marks which was not at all expected. I have scored a third class.Sir, I
also know that this has nothing to do with you. But I want to tell you that I am a very
hard-working and a responsible student. Sir, this letter may be a little awkward for you
to read. But, Sir please understand that you have the power and patience to hear people's
problem and you are the only one who can help students/people like me.
Sir, it is my duty to bring to your notice that I am not the only one who has got
my results like this but there are people who are more hard-working than me. But everyone
cannot put out their feelings out publically. I would also like to inform you that the
Bangalore University Board people are the most arrogant, rude and have a very bad feeling
that they can do whatever they want. But Sir, sometimes I feel that they are right because
they have the position and power to create a good future of a student and destroy it as
well. I think they are in the feeling that they are not questionable to anyone. Even
during the re-valuation procedure students tend to lose marks because the valuators are
angry for doing the same job again. This also takes a hell of a lot of time. The situation
is like this : You apply for re-valuation but as it is done very late and so you start to
prepare to write the supplementary exams.
Sir, I would like you to look into this matter personally. Sir please don't ignore
this letter, it is a question of the future of thousands of students like me. I would be
very grateful,if you could help the student community with the help of your position and
power. And there by help us to create our future in a responsible manner.
Thank you.
