Fire Policy
Under this one can cover various property like residential buildings, hotels,
factories, godowns, machineries, stocks etc against the risks of fire, lightning,
explosion, riot, strike, malicious damage, terrorism, impact damage, aircraft damage,
flood, storm, tempest etc (total 12 covers). The sum insured can be market value or
Reinstatement value for buildings/ machineries/ furniture/ fixtures/ fittings. For
stocks it should be market value. The premium depends on the occupancy of the
premises. This is a tariff business and the rates are as per All India Fire Tariff.
