Ans: 2000 trees have been cut by the City Corporation in the last 3 years without the
permission of the forest department. The rule of planting two trees for every one cut is
not being complied with.

Ans: 8 year old autos and 15 year old lorries should be banned from roads. Catalytic
converters should be a must in cars. Unleaded gas should be made the norm.

Ans: Battery or gas operated vehicles should be used in a big way, like in Delhi, because
these are pollution free.
