There are no private run hotels here. Its unfortunate...
We have to contact Dept. of Horticulture which is a government organisation having some
beautiful cottages. They are Raj Bhavan, Kallahatti, Dattatreya, Vanadarshini, Dupadagiri
and so on... You can get double rooms or dormitory type cottages. Prices would be in the
range of Rs.150 - 500 depending on the type of accomodation. No specialty food is
available here. Canteens run by the Dept. or some small time restaurants can see to that
you don't starve.

and ask for reservations in charge for Kemmanagundi. In Kemmanagundi, dial +91-8261-37126
and speak to Special officer.
Bookings for the cottages are done either at Bangalore or at Kemmanagundi itself.
Instead of this place, we suggest you go to Kudremukh where in a new resort called Silent
Valley Resorts has come up. It is the right place for trekkers and nature lovers.
