Subject: Dog Menace Ejipura, Bangalore

I stay in Ejipura, the area sand-witched between posh Koromangala and Viveknagar.....

We are off late experiencing a lot of disturbances due the enormous amount of dogs present in the area. These dogs bark at every thing (vehicle) or residents passing making life in the night an absolute nuisance.

Not to mention that these dogs are fed by the residents on the pretext of being compassionate to animals. But when it comes to taking ownership for their road side pets, well the answer is best left unsaid.

Like wise, inconsiderate neighbors, house a few dogs which bark through out the night, well I don't know, how the owner sleeps. The laws of India don't protect the common man, from such inconsiderate neighbors.

Thus we are left with the option of tucking our heads under our pillows to catch some peace... "Bangalore a Pensioner's Paradise" is a dream of the past, with such nice unstoppable music playing through the night.

Organization like CUPA, SPCA and other NGOs object to killing/ eliminating street dogs, but these same organization who object cruelty, do nothing to check the ever increasing population. Each house is blessed with a minimum three to four dogs.

Kindly do something about the same at the earliest and also suggest the right corrective action if the neighobur's dog were to bark continuously.

Hoping to hear from you at the earliest.

Thanking You,
Regards

Mathews

Road shape is too poor

Dear Sir,

I reside in S.R. Layout in Murugeshpalya on Wind Tunnel Road.(Off Airport Road)

The road that lead from wind tunnel to S.R Layout houses many high rise complexes and it is the only road that has link to as many as 20 flats and hundred of houses.

This road is hardly 20 feet wide and that too is in shattered condition. Many diggings have taken place during last months by telephone, drainage dept, but the path up work is still not done.

Last fortnight some patch up work was done but again it has come out as it was done in hasty manner. A waste of humble people money. I need inquiry into who did this job.

This road requires complete and quality overhaul of paver.
1. As it handles lot of traffic.
2. Sand on the road causes lot of dust , that results in asthmatic problems.

I want an action from the BCC over this and if not done it will lead me to file petition to resolve the issue.

Regards, Arun

Letter to BDA

Dear Sir,

I am one of the resident of K H B Apartments, Kengeri Upanagara, Bangalore. The outer ring road between Mysore Road and Tumkur Road passes nearby our colony. The ring road is quite good. However, following serious defects have been noted, which are creating lot of panic among the residents of the colony and the drivers of the vehicle. The details are given below:

1. There is a steep curve/turning between our colony and the Nagadevanahalli. Already, in last two months, 3 major accidents have happened, as there are no proper signage. And the vehicles are falling inside our compound. It is even difficult for pedestrians to walk on the footpath. Hence, I request you to kindly take suitable steps to avoid the future accidents.

2. It is already months, since the inaugural of the road, there are no street lights on the road, although those are installed, connection is yet to be give. It is only in this stretch, connection is not given. I do not understand why. As it is very difficult to drive during the night hours on this road. May I request the concerned authorities to expedite the connection so that many accidents can be avoided.

Awaiting for a firm reply.

With thanks and regards
G P Deshpande, KHB Apartments, Kengeri Upanagara.
